After a very tough group with Albert Foundry (3-0 loss) Cliftonville (0-0) and Glentoran (1-0 loss) they didn’t let their heads drop.
A semi final against Belfast Celtic seen the boys 2 nil down early until Charlie Bownes hit a screamer from near the half way into the top corner. With only mins to go Reuben broke free and slotted in the equaliser taking the game to penalties. 2 misses from Celtic and 2 great pens from Alfie and Charlie seen us into the final.
The final against Broomfield seen us take an early lead after Reubens cross was turned into the net by the defender. Broomfield scored soon after and after surviving late pressure we made it penalties again. 2 brilliant saves from Harry and 2 great pens from Reuben and Charlie seen us lift the cup. Brilliant way to end the season. Hope the boys are all still buzzing. Well deserved. Thanks to all the kids and especially the parents for travelling so far this morning but it was so worth it.
