Cookstown travelled to Portadown on Saturday to take on Tandragee. Cookstown started brightly and were immediately on the attack from the kick off, and they were rewarded after three minutes with A. Traill goal. Cookstown continued to dominate and doubled their lead through J. McElkennon. Cookstown then loss concentration and allowed Tandragee back into the game with them capitalising with a goal. After this Cookstown retook control of the game with several further goals from A. Traill, J. McElkennon and one from B. Tereso.
