CYFC RUN OUT FOR THEIR FIRST EVER SENIOR GAME

Cookstown Youth Football Club made history today as they competed in their first ever senior game. The opponents today were Magherafelt based Sofia Farmers FC and this friendly encounter finished 3 each.

Manager Niall Hunter was pleased with the teams run-out today and stated that for a first ever competitive game after just a few weeks training the players did extremely well.

Today is the result of 9 months hard work and the birth of a new chapter in the history of CYFC.

Well done to all the players and management team and also to the spectators who braved the elements to support the CYFC senior team.
