CYFC PLAYERS BARE THE PAIN FOR GOOD CAUSE

Several Cookstown Youth FC senior players put themselves up for some wax and pain recently in aid of The Cancer Fund for Children Charity.

The “Waxing Night ” in The Royal Hotel in Cookstown was the brainchild of club captain Philly McGarvey and his fiancé Trudy Barnes and raised over £2000 , a fantastic amount for a great cause.

Trudy embarks on her own fundraiser for the charity this coming summer when she heads to take on the Inca Trail in Peru , and everyone at Cookstown Youth Football Club wish her all the very best in this adventure which will help so many who can only dream of playing sport or climbing mountains .
