Cookstown Youth FC U12s defeat Dungannon Youth

This weeks fixture was changed to a Friday evening kick off 6.30pm away to Dungannon youth we had a full squad so an exciting encounter awaited,the game started with the youth slow to come out of the blocks with Dungannon pushing high up the pitch putting pressure on the defense of devlin, ohare, Devlin, Donelly soon the pressure payed of with Dungannon taken the lead with a deflected shot, the game then started to change with the youths midfield of Hamilton and Forbes threading passes through to the front pairing of ohare and Armstrong, we squandered six or seven attempts in front of goal with no outcome, the game then went against the run of play again awarding Dungannon with a second goal, substitutions were made in the second half with a more attacking line up and we immediately closed the gap with a side foot finish from ohare, it was all Cookstown from then on with Dungannon pinned back for most of the second half Cyfc continued there attacks scoring three more goals to clinch a 4-2 victory over a well disciplined Dungannon side.
