Cookstown started the game very well putting the coalisland defence under alot of pressure an soon it paid off, Isaac kelso capitalising on some poor defending nipped in on front of the defender to poke the ball home , Cookstown continued to dominate the possession but coalislands defence stood strong , jay Wilson who had just come on turned his defender an hit a great shot 18 yards out to find the corner of the net to make it 2-0 at the break.
Cookstown continued to dominate and played some really good football at times with Harry Mckenzie an Brendan Mulgrew running midfield, jay Wilson made it 3-0 with another lovely Finnish , Cookstown had more chances Aidan Mclehatton just couldn’t get his toe on the end of a through ball and Jack price had a shot well saved by the coalisland goalkeeper.
With the few missed chances coalisland then came into the game more an so Cookstown conceded 3 goals  in the space of seven minutes , however Cookstown showed great heart an were in a determined mood , Jake Donnelly crossed in a great ball for Jay Wilson  to head into the net to make it 4-3 an complete a great hatrick  for the young striker ,with only five minutes remaining cyfc were not going to be denied the win ,a thoroughly deserved win an great attitude from all the players involved
